Borgo Dolci Colline is located in a fantastic e strategic position to visit Tuscany.

It is just 2 km far from the town of Castiglion Fiorentino and not far from the border with another region, Umbria. This position allows you to visit the most important places of the centre of Italy: Arezzo, Cortona, Siena, Perugia, Firenze and the Chianti region.

If you are thinking about visiting Tuscany, Borgo Dolci Colline is really the perfect place for you because you can get easily to the most beautiful places and you can relax in our outdoor area and wellness area.

Castiglion Fiorentino

In the town of Castiglion Fiorentino you can see the typical features of an etruscan town with the city walls, the chiostro and the church of Saint Francis, the museum where you can see a famous masterpice of Giorgio Vasari. Right outside the town you can also admire the castle of Montecchio Vesponi.

Arezzo

Arezzo is worth seeing because many tuscan artists are born there: Francesco Petrarca is one of the most important ones and you can find his works all around the town. There are also many other artists such as Giorgio Vasari.Pietro Aretino, Guido Monaco, Masaccio and Piero della Francesca whcih are import for Arezzo, so our advice is to stop for a day trip.

Perugia

 

The city of Perugia is 60 km far from Castiglion Fiorentino and it is famous for its architecture but also for artisan works with pottery, ceramic and cloth. Along the way to reach Perugia you can stop  and visit Trasimeno lake with all is nice villages such as Castiglion del Lago, Passignano and Tuoro.

 

Siena

Siena is one hour far from Castiglion Fiorentino and it is definetely woth visiting with all its monuments and architecture. Around the area of Siena there are other beautiful villages to see famous also for typical food and wine such as Montepulciano, Montalcino and Pienza.

Firenze

Firenze is one of the most beautiful town of Italy and it is 80 km far from Castiglion Fiorentino and it is easily reachable by train, avoiding the difficulties to find parking in the city, Firenze is where the Renaissance was born so it is really one of the most important places to see.
